Princess

Alright. Did anyone else go overboard for their kids in the early days of covid? I felt terrible that my daughter's school year ended abruptly, she was dealing with the new covid "normal" and her birthday was around the corner. To make up for the first few months of covid, I threw her a princess party in our backyard, inviting neighbors that were in our covid bubble.

Luckily being a summer birthday, holding the party outside was pretty easy. I got a princess tiara bounce and water slide from Jumptastic, with a Disney Princess theme banner which was a hit. For most decor, I got once upon a time decorations from Party City. I got The Little Golden Books for all of the princesses, along with a few others, to use as favors - here is Ariel as an example. Since we were still in the early stages of covid, I did individual portions of food and provided these fun trays for people to use. I had to have a little fun with people needing to go to the bathroom, so I made a sign asking people to mask up, complete with the princesses in masks. Finally, as always I used the fabulous Pum's Sweets to make INCREDIBLE dress cookies and bodice cupcakes. Truly amazing!!
